Tobacco-Free Campus
Franklin Square Goes Tobacco-Free
Franklin Square Hospital Center wants to provide the healthiest environment possible for all of its patients, visitors and employees. That's why the hospital went completely tobacco-free on July 1, 2008.
This means that all tobacco products will be banned from the Franklin Square campus and off-site locations, including its parking lots. This policy applies to everyone: visitors, employees, physicians, patients, volunteers and students.
Tobacco use is the most preventable cause of death and disease in the United States.
Patients will be informed of the tobacco ban, and the Franklin Square clinical staff will help them manage any difficulties they may have as a result.
